We contributed a song to an Anti-Scott Walker complilation and they made a video for it.

Volunteer starts a label and partners with Forge Again Records to release it’s forthcoming “goner” 10″

Since we’ve had complete control of the production of both our debut 12″ and our forthcoming 10″, we’ve decided that it only makes sense to start our own label, called Triple Eye Industries. Running a label is not going to be easy, so to help us out with PR and distribution, we’re co-releasing the 10″ with Forge Again Records out of Chicago. Forge Again has a long history of working with notable Milwaukee bands, such as Temper Temper, Call Me Lightning and Hero of 100 Fights; not to mention national acts like Boys Night Out, Hewhocorrupts and more recently, our friends Child Bite and We are Hex.

Our 4-song 10″, entitled “goner”, is currently in production. We’re working on putting together a release show (sometime later this summer), as well as some additional regional shows.

Volunteer joins the Underground Communique roster

We are proud to announce that we’ve worked out a deal with Underground Communique, from Chicago. With a discography featuring bands like Shot Baker, J Church, Rollo Tomasi, The Honor System and Get Rad… it was a no brainer that we join forces to put out our debut 6-song 12″. With production already underway, we’re planning our release show at Cactus Club on October 5th, with our friends in Hot Coffin, War Brides and Sinking Suns.

Check out this track from our forthcoming EP.

While our EP is off getting mastered and pressed to vinyl… here’s one track, for those of you who’ve been asking for some audio. Enjoy.

We are Volunteer.

Mark, Francisco and I have been holed up in the basement, (slowly) writing material. It feels good to make noise again. We just booked our first two shows set for July – so we need to step it up and finalize our set. We have loose plans for recording and putting something out soon. Not sure if it will be a long EP or a short album. We’ll keep you posted.
